Thank you for your review.

I saw the film a few days ago and think it’s a profoundly Christian film.

I also loved this film and immediately felt it was a powerful depiction of habitual sin and the power it has to destroy your life and appetites. It stuck with me for months β€” I thought about it nearly every day! Eggers is incredible. I heard his next film is about werewolves.

I also read your piece about Bergman β€” Eggers has said in interviews that Bergman is his greatest influence!

Thank you for the review. I'm not a horror movie fan, but I have been interested in this one. The original Nosferatu is the best vampire film that I have seen and I'm hopeful for Robert Eggers. I didn't like his first movie The Witch overall but I can't deny that it was well made (I didn't see his other two films). I will probably see this movie eventually through the library for free but not in theaters because I'm financially boycotting Hollywood for being so pro-abortion. I also don't like that it was released on Christmas Day.

You are missing the fact that the final scene has completely insane morality and religious connotation. You cannot defeat evil with sin. The whole thing goes in the toilet at the end. It’s not even dubious. It’s obvious. Please go get some formation in your Faith, Charles.
