This year, movies didn’t necessarily rebound in the big way a lot of people were hoping, but there were still some hopeful steps forward, with Warner Bros (soon to be Netflix/Warner Bros) going on a hot streak with Sinners, Superman, and Weapons and surprises like K-Pop Demon Hunters taking the entire world by storm.

Haven't seen enough 2025 movies to fill out the poll, but Wake Up Dead Man is the best movie I've seen in a long time. It gets all my votes!
I have seen less than 20 movies from this year. Thankfully, I enjoyed most of them and really liked a handful. As of yet, I haven't seen a film that I would consider to be great.
My friend got Netflix again and we watched Frankenstein on Christmas Eve. It's easily making my top 5. On New Year's Eve, we'll be watching Wake Up Dead Man and I will submit my votes. I think those Netflix movies are forgone conclusions to make the the final list. I am rooting for The Life of Chuck, Black Bag, Fantastic Four: First Steps, and Thunderbolts*. I still don't know what to think of Sinners.
