Sisu: Road to Revenge (2025)

The Sisu films are a bizarre anomaly in modern Cinema. They without a doubt are a product of a post-tarantino movie landscape and feel distinctly out of the 1970s. However, it seems that they go a little too far in committing to the bit. I will admit that I am in the minority of individuals that did not particularly care for the first one. It’s rather ridiculous nature was quite jarring and only continued to be more insane as the film went on to the point where the film bordered on fantasy. This new installment, while feeling a little more rooted in reality in what an individual is able to survive, further doubles down on the franchise’s bombastic camp.
