Matt Johnson (one of the brilliant minds behind Nirvanna The Band The Show the Movie) dares to ask the simple question of “ If the government faked the moon landing, what all would it have had to have gone through to do it?” While many have proposed answers to this, Johnson does it out of jest to Conspiracy Inc and subverts it with comedy that flawlessly transitions to drama and tragedy.
Operation Avalanche follows two CIA agents who are sent to find a Soviet spy within NASA in 1967. Upon discovering that they cannot land on the Moon, the two conspire to fake it. As they get deeper into the conspiracy, they begin to notice things get stranger and people begin to appear or go missing.
