Back when we launched our paid subscriber tier, I teased the creation of a supporter Discord server where our supporters could “meet other Catholic cinephiles, hang out, discuss movies, and generally have a great time.” It has taken longer than I anticipated to get it set up, but I’m pleased to finally announce that we have launched the supporter server! In addition to being a place to chat and connect, we will have a monthly movie club, a movie swap game which I’m very excited about, occasional live-streams and (depending on legality) possibly movie streams, and other fun events!
This server is only open to our paid supporters here on Substack. If you are already a paid supporter: thank you! We greatly appreciate you and are excited to meet you in the Discord. You will be receiving an email shortly with an invite link at the email connected with your Substack account from 100catholicmovies@gmail.com. Check your spam if you don’t see it, and if you wait too long and the link expires, shoot back an email reply and we’ll get you access.

As I said in our original announcement post, our goal is to continue sharing our appreciation for Catholic themes in film across different media, as well as producing our own Catholic films in the near future.
